How to tint your eyebrows with henna?

Thank goodness, the stick-thin brows of the 1990s are long gone, but it doesn't assist those of us who had naturally scant brows, to begin with. What are we brow less females to do? To begin, I recently tried tinting my brows with henna to see if it will help. While my brows didn't go from spotty to Groucho Marx in a single pass, they did become a little fuller and darker, which I'll take as a win.

Fortunately, getting bigger brows doesn't have to be scary or expensive. If you want to avoid brow pencils and powders in favor of something more permanent, an eyebrow henna tinting kit may be the best of both worlds. It's also semi-permanent, so you're not trapped.

Henna brows are a type of eyebrow tinting that employs natural hair and skin color that has been utilized in regions of Africa and Asia for centuries. You're probably used to seeing henna tattoos as part of Indian mehndi customs, but it can also be used to make sparse brows appear fuller.

How to Apply Henna on Your Eyebrows

Eyebrow tinting has become popular in recent years since it not only darkens your brows but also helps to boost the look of volume. Because the dye absorbs into the skin, it helps to fill in bare patches and broaden the brow line. It also draws attention to fine hairs along the brow's periphery that were previously unseen.

Tinting brows with henna is a terrific alternative if you're not ready to commit to more permanent options, such as microblading, because it's reasonably affordable and painless.

Make use of eyebrow henna.

Traditional henna only comes in one color, which is a bright red. Eyebrow henna, on the other hand, is available in a variety of colors, many of which lack red overtones.

It's also designed to be used near the eyes, which is critical. Getting dye or chemicals in your eyes can lead to blindness, so use only solutions designed exclusively for brows.

Choose the appropriate color.

Contrary to popular perception, you do not want to darken your brow henna. You simply want to bring out their natural color. While my hair is medium brown, my brows are much lighter and redder, so I went with a light brown henna and was pleased with the subtle effects. If you can't decide between two hues, go with the lighter one. You may always make the color darker by leaving the dye on for a longer period of time.

Prepare a patch test ahead of time.

There are numerous horror stories about at-home eyebrow tinting and allergic reactions, so don't take any chances. Test the dye on the inside of your arm 48 hours before coloring your brows to ensure you are not sensitive to any of the components. If you don't notice any redness, itching, or swelling in the next 48 hours, you can apply it to your face.

Maintain your natural brow structure.

Brow tinting is commonly used in professional salons to enhance and highlight the natural brow area. However, if you're doing this at home, I recommend sticking to your natural form and only darkening the hairs themselves, rather than the skin around your brows. Clean up your brows ahead of time if necessary by plucking stray hairs and shaping your arches.
